Steps for Rental
- Appointments
Appointments can be made through call, in store, or online
*We will ask for your name, phone number, departure and arrival time, car class, number of passengers and additional options.
- Sign a Contract when you come to the shop
・Please be at the store by the appointed time.
*Please contact us if you will be late.
・Show us your driver's license and Sign a form
*If your current address is different from what is written on your drivers card, please bring another document which can prove the address. Documents can be the following; Utility bill, Resident's card issued within 2 months prior to the application day, Health insurance card, Employee ID card, or Student ID card.
・Please check the terms of use and sign if you agree.
・Please complete the payment before your departure.
- Departure
You can drive as soon as the overall explanation and maintenance check finishes
- Return the car
・Please return the car by the contracted time.
*Please contact us if you will be late.
・Please fill up the car at the gas station near our store(ENEOS is close).
・Please pay the extra fees(If you have any) at the store.
・Please contact us if you want to return a car during closed hours.
Precautions
About Cancelations
If you cancel the reservation, depending on the time you inform us, there would be cancellation fees charged.
If you are late for more than a hour on the planned departure we will have to cancel your appointment.
If the cancellation is made on the date of your reservation, the entire price would still be charged .

About the Fees
The payment would be paid before departure, if there are extraThe payment would be paid before departure, if there are extra charges we would require the payment after your return.
fuel fee：
Since we lent the car out with full fuel, we expect the fuel to be full when you return it, If it is not full, we will have to charge you a fuel fee that is calculated threw our formula based on the traveled distance. This may cost more than the average fuel price please do understand.
extra fee：
If you extend the rental time, we will ask for extra fee that covers for those days. If you extend the rental time without noticing or contacting us, we will ask for the penalty fee that is written in our contract. If you do extend the rental time on your own, this will go against our contract thus any damages occurred during this extension would be your liability.charges we would require the payment after your return.

About Insurance and Compensation
Eco Car Rental has a car insurance that covers for all our vehicles with the limitations listed below
* Hospitalization fees can only be covered for 180 days from the day of the accident.
* If the accident description goes against or doesn’t fit the insurance guidelines, if the accident police report isn’t provided as proof, the fees would not be covered.
* repair・replacement fees for flat tires, fees for the wrong oil type during oil change, and fees for losing the key would have to be paid by the customer.

About the CDW (Collision Damage Waiver)
If you agree and sign the CDW you will be exempt form the charges for the damages done to the car. This will only exempt you from the damage fees, the NOC and towing fees are not included.
If you got into one or more accidents, only the first accidents damage fees would be covered and you must pay the fine for the second accident. You can not add or cancel the CDW after the car is handed
to you and is only applied to the contractor thus if there are multiple drivers, they must also have their own CDW.

About NOC (Non Operation Charges)
You will be charged according to the chart below if the car has damage that the company is not responsible for such as accidents, car thefts, malfunctions, stains, damage to car installations, and scorched seats.

About Compensation Exemption System

How should I make an appointment if I want to use a car today?
Of course you can. Please call us directly and we will book an appointment for you.
*Unfortunately you cannot make a reservation online*
Where should I wait for the pick up?
We will pick you up at the rotary at the east exit of Keisei Narita Station.
If you would like to be picked up, please write in the remarks column on the last page of the online reservation.
What do I need to rent a car? When do I pay the fee?
The only thing you need is your valid driver’s license. (If your current address is different from the address written on your license card, we need other documents which can prove your current address.)
The payment will be completed before your departure. We accept the payment by cash, credit cards, and smartphone app payment services(ex. Paypay, Rakuten pay).
What happens if you don’t register for CDW?
You do not have to buy the CDW, but we recommend to buy it for your safety.
If you get into an accident, if you do not buy the CDW you will pay the max of 50,000 yen and the rest would be covered by the insurance company. On the other hand, if you do buy the CDW the insurance company will cover the full payment.
Is there a refund if I return the car earlier than the contracted time?
I’m afraid we cannot do so because we don’t have refund services.
Do you have a mileage limitation?
Yes, we the limitations are the following: 300 km/24h, 1500 km/week 3000 km/14~30 days.
If you drive more than this, you have to pay the extra charge.(calculated by 10 yen/km)
